Abstract: CRUTO, MALYN A. Feeding Method and Emotional Attachment of Grade I Pupils of Indang Central Elementary School in Indang Cavite AY 2005-2006. Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Psychology Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, April 2006. Thesis Adviser Ms. Alodia C. Mercado. The study entitled Feeding Method and Emotional Attachment of Grade I Pupils of Indang Central Elementary School AY 2005-2006 aimed to find out the relationship of feeding method and emotional attachment of Grade I pupils, specifically it intended to answer the problem: "What is the significant relationship of feeding method and emotional attachment of Grade I pupils?" The method utilized in this study is Descriptive Method. The respondents are gathered by the use of Purposive Sampling Technique essentially from Indang Elementary School Indang, Cavite with a total of 62 pupils and with their 62 mothers. Based on the study conducted the researcher have come up with the findings that there was a significant relationship in feeding method and emotional attachment of the respondents. Thus, there is a significant difference in mother-child emotional attachment to the breastfeeding and bottle feeding of children’s. As a proposition, the researcher recommends that same study should be conducted in different elementary grade levels to further support initial studies. I the researcher also recommended bottle feeding for parents to develop more attention of time and emotional considerations to their children. I, the researcher am hoping that through this study could be able to add knowledge in the field of Psychology whereas this study would be able to guide future researchers.
