Abstract: DABU, JOSEPH V. BART AND ROSE ANN E VALES. Perception on Physical 'fiscation in the Senior High School students in 'Mendez, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Sport and Recreational Management. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. June 2018 Adviser: Clarisse Ann C. Papa. This study was conducted in six different Senior High Schools in Mendez, Cavite to determine the perception of the Senior High School students towards Physical Education. Specially, the study determined the demographic characteristics of the Senior High Schools in terms of their age, sex, year level and school; identify the perception of Senior High School students towards Physical Education and determine the significant difference in the perception of Senior High School students towards Physical Education group according to demographic characteristic. A study was primarily concerned with the perception of Physical Education on the Senior High School students in Mendez. Cavite for S.Y 2017-2018. The Participants were 254 Senior High schools in six different schools in Mendez, Cavite. They were selected using the Random Sampling technique_ A survey questionnaire was used to gather the data needed in the study. The results of the study revealed that the majority of the respondents age ranged from 17 to 18 years of age; majority of them are female and in Grade 12. The results also showed that majority of the respondents have very high perception that Physical Education is not only for the students but also for everybody, be a young girl or boy, or an adult. Basically, the respondents have high perception towards Physical Education. The results showed that there is no difference in the perception of the respondents when grouped according to their age but there is a significant difference in their perceptions towards Physical Education when they are grouped according to their sex and year level.
