Abstract: CASTRO, ALADIN JOSEPH D. AND PLATA, RIA JEANNE M., Effects of Menstruaton in the Performance of Combative Athletes during training in Cavite State University. Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor in Sports and Recreational Management, Cavite State University, Indang Cavite, June 2019. Adviser Mrs. Erlinda C. Eustaquio. This study aimed to determine the effects of menstruation in the performance of combative athletes during training in Cavite State University. Descriptive method was used and the chief instrument was the survey questionnaire. The Participants of the study were the 30 combative athletes of the school. The participants of the study are athletes under the consult the 19 years old. While in their 1St year of playing with their menstrual cycle, and they are the participants that have regular period. They found out the effects of menstruation in the performance of combative athletes during training result shows that menstruation had a negative effect on combative athlete during training. It was also found out that there is no significant difference between the effects of menstruation in the performance of combative athlete during the training when grouped according to their demographic characteristics. The study recommended reduction of effects on performance of athletes during their training must be carefully looked upon; ways to do this must be explored. Other exercises must be initiated to players affected by menstrual period so as not to affect their level of performance during actual games. Intake of any form of medicine to reduce menstrual effects must not be allowed if not possible by doctors or physician. . Effects of menstruation during actual games must also be looked upon. Coaches must be able to understand at times to whatever athletes may feel during times that they have menstrual period. And last determine if menstruation has positive effect in the performance of athlete during training and actual games
