Abstract: LANUGAN, APPLE JANE R. and MAGBANUA, NICOLETE A. Development Of Online Management Information System of Macapuno Seedling Production of Cavite State University Main Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. January 2019. Adviser: Prof. Jake R. Ersando. The study was conducted to provide a management information system that will enhance the manual operation of the organization in the Research Center of Cavite State University that focuses in producing macapuno seedlings. Mainly, it aims to provide an automated data record management and to promote the product of the organization. The system provides five different modules. These modules are account management module, information module, reservation module, inventory module and the report module. The study was guided by the work flow of the Iterative Methodology. This methodology focuses in the series of iteration that enhance the recognition for the improvements of the system. It contains several phases: Planning and Requirements Phase, Analysis and Design Phase, Implementation Phase, Testing Phase and Evaluation Phase. The system was created through a scripting language PHP embedded with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using text editor Notepad++. The database of the system was created through the use of MySQL. The Adobe Photoshop for the interface design and the Microsoft Office Word for the documentation. A series of testing, evaluation and demonstrations were held. From the evaluation of the system, the overall rating of the system was excellent denoting satisfactory marks.
