Manuel, Jr., adviser. A Farm Practice Report "Production of Sweet Corn Inoculated with Azospirillum in Between Pineapple Plants" was undertaken at Pineapple Production Project, Department of Crop Science, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite from September 13 to December 27, 1997. The project aimed to: (a) provide the student hands-on skills training in sweet com production using Azospirillum inoculants; and (b) develop the students’ entrepreneurial skills dough actual management of an income generating sweet corn production project. One-kilogram of UPLB-Pearl Sweet Corn Seeds was inoculated with one kilogram of BIO-N (a commercial preparation of Azospirillum) and used as planting materials in a 1,500 square meter area planted with two-month-old pineapple. A total of 1,556 com ears were harvested from the area. The total gross income of the project was P5,356 while the total production cost was P3,598.67. fie net income generated was P 1,457.33. The computed Return on Investment of the project was 35.75%.
