Abstract: BELLO, MICHAEL ANGELO E..JALANDONI, ZARINA F. ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND CRIMINOLOGY LICENSURE EXAMINATION RATING OF B.S. CRIMINOLOGY BATCHES 2014-2018. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. May 2019. Adviser: Prof Ian Christian B. Filipino. This study conducted from August 2018 to May 2019 to assess the Academic performance and criminology licensure examination rating of B.S. criminology batches 2014-2018. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1. determine the academic performance record of B.S. Criminology graduates batches 2014-2018 in the College of Criminal Justice as to their General Weighted Average in all major subjects. 2. determine the Criminology .Licensure Examination rating of B.S. Criminology graduates batches 2014-2018 as to General Weighted Average in all subjects. 3. determine the competency appraisal grades of B.S. Criminology graduates hatches 2014-2018 in the College of Criminal Justice as to their General Weighted Average in terms of competency appraisal 1 and 2. 4. determine the significant relationship between the academic performances of B.S. Criminology graduates batches 2014-2018 to the result of their Criminology Licensure Examination as to General Weighted Average. 5. determine the significant relationship between the competency appraisal grades of B.S. Criminology graduates batches 2014-2018 and their Criminology Licensure Examination rating and 6. identify the top three areas in the Criminology Licensure Examination that the graduates find it difficult to answer, and what area that the participant fined it less difficult. The descriptive — correlation research method was employed in processing the data. The participants were composed of a total number of two hundred seven (207) B.S. Criminology Graduates batch 2014-2018. The primary source data was provided through the data record collected from the University and College that consist of academic performances, competency appraisal result in College of Criminal Justice (CvSU) and the record of Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) of B.S. Criminology Graduates batch 2014- 2018 . Based on the result of the study, in academic performance the least area that has a lower rating was Criminal Law and Jurisprudence with an average mean rating of 2.14 while the highest was Criminal sociology with the average mean rating of 1.79. In Criminology Licensure Examination Crime Detection and investigation had the lower mean rating with 78.20 and the highest mean rating of 83.08 Criminalistics. In competency appraisal 197 and competency appraisal 198, Competency appraisal 197 the graduates had a highest mean rating with 2.09 which is good on the other hand the graduates got a lower mean rating in Competency Appraisal 198 with a 2.51 mean rating and only satisfactory. The result also reveals that when it comes in knowing the significant relationship between academic performances to Criminology Licensure Examination the p-value of all the variable is <0.05 with a Rejected Ho remarks it means overall there is a significance relationship between the said variables. In knowing the significant relationship between competency appraisal to Criminology Licensure Examination the p-value of all the variable is <0.05 with a Rejected Ho remarks it means overall there is a significance relationship between the said variables. Top three subject areas in the Criminology Licensure Examination with lower performance are Crime Detection and investigation got the 3rd lower performance in which it has 80.00 mean, 2nd is Criminal Sociology Ethics and Human Relation with 19.06 mean, and last the lowest rating performance with 78.20 mean is Criminal Law and Jurisprudence.
