Toyota diesel engine with turbo charger is an electronic diesel control with diesel engine fuel injection control system for the precise it fires up immediately. D-4D actually stands for Direct Injection 4 Cylinder Common Rail Diesel Engine. Common rail diesels inject a fine mist of fuel into the engine at very high pressure. The result is the same power and refinement as a petrol engine, but with netter metering and delivery of fuel into the combustion chamber of modern diesel engines. One feature of the electronic controls associated with the common rail is that there is no need to wait for glow plugs to warm up before starting the engine. Simply turn the key and fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The design project aimed to design, construct, and develop the Toyota diesel engine with turbo charger instructional trainer. The study contributed to the students and instructors for a higher quality educational learning activities using the instructional trainer. The study aided in improving trainings and learnings of the students. This help student in acquiring the skills and training they need through hands-on activities on the instructional trainer. The study solved the problem of insufficiency of ability and knowledge of the students regarding the turbo charger diesel engine. The Toyota 2KD diesel engine was reconditioned by testing the engine to run and observing if all the parts including the turbo, radiator, intercooler and other engine parts mere properly working. The authors built a frame for the engine that has a dimension of 47" x 28" x 17". Before the installation of the different components, the authors painted the engines different systems to be able to make the engine visible according to its major components. The engine had different colors that feature the different divisions of the amine. Before the design project was evaluated, the engine trainer was tested by the authors. All of the engine trainer system such as cooling and lubricating system and the ability of the frame in holding the engine vibration during idle and normal speed was checked and tested. The design project focused on the improved and latest model of engine. The project was observed on the different engine system such as lubricating , turbocharger system and engine idle during running condition. The oil pressure monitored using an LED light for monitoring visually the oil indicator light but the pressure was not observed in terms of pressure per square inch. After the engine the oil indicators immediately turn off in split seconds, together with the check indicator light. The engine performance can be electronically observed by the lights. The boost gauge and the tachometer was observed wherein the reached 3000 RPM corresponding to the boost gauge which is 2.0 psi. The e is working normally while the engine is working in idle speed. The cooling was considered normal due to its temperature indicator.
