Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Engr. Roselyn Pena The design project was conducted at Brgy. San Roque, Naic, Cavite and Cavite t University, Indang, Cavite from September 2018 to June 2019. It was presented on 17, 2019, under the supervision of Engr. Roselyn Pea and Engr. Rico Asuncion at the College of Engineering and Information Technology Building, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. The study aimed to provide a structural design of a Reinforced Concrete Deck Asa Bridge that connects two towns, San Juan II in Gen. Trias and Bucal in Tanta, The proposed bridge was approximately 50 m in length with a roadway-width of 92 a The designed bridge was a Reinforced Concrete deck arch bridge .The study included architectural and structural plans as well as cost estimate of the proposed design of the bridge. The proposed bridge located at Barangay San Juan II, Tejero, Gen. Trias Cavite has a river barrier namely Malawi Grande River. Regarding this situation, a structural design of Reinforced Concrete Bridge was needed to be designed with a maximum cost n) 30,000,000. The type of bridge design was conducted to determine the appropriate design for the crossing of river. The proposed bridge has a length of 51 m with a roadway width of 9.8 in. The approximate height of the bridge from the creek was 8.4 m. parameters and guidelines used in the design were based from the specifications of and also previous manuscripts. The reinforced concrete deck arch bridge estimated project total direct cost was P 5 the contingency cost was P 292,584.765, profit of P 1,576,323,036 and tax of 662.1 resulting a total project cost of P 17,751,595.2.
