Abstract: REALOGIO, JENNICA BIANCA M. Development of an E-Robot for Electronics Technology Students. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Electronics Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Adviser: Ms. Ma. Fatima B. Zulliga. The study was conducted from February 2015 to March 2018 at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology, Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. The E-Robot provides convenience for the Electronic students in reporting by means of voice recognition and since it has electronic software, it can be used for their presentation of lessons or reports. It also contains different videos and tutorials about Electronic topics that help students better and more effectively. Specifically, it aimed to design an E-Robot for electronics technology student; fabricate an E-Robot for electronics technology students; integrate the program and install software for microcontroller; test the performance on the project design; and evaluate the project in terms if functionality, quality, physical appearance, and workability. This design project has a voice activator circuit that controls the projector, arm, and the wheel. Microcontroller is a computer present in a single integrated circuit which is dedicated to perform one task and execute one specific application. It contains memory programmable input/output peripherals as well as a processor. Servo motors is a rotary actuator or linear actuator that allows for precise control of angular or linear position, velocity and acceleration. It consists of a suitable motor coupled to a sensor for position feedback. Robotic arm is a type of mechanical arm, usually programmable, with similar functions to a human arm; the arm may be the sum total of the mechanism or may be part of a more complex robot. A mini size projector or also known as a pocket projector, mobile projector, pico projector or mini beamer is an image projector in a handheld device. It was developed to serve compact portable devices. The research finds the simplest programming language that even non-programmer can create and debug robotics programs without much difficulty. One of the main problems of a school, institution, or college is having a lack of motivation to make students more interested in learning their subject. Application of robots for teaching plays a vital role for an effective and efficient approach for both students and schools.
