Abstract: Calderon, Mark Neil Z. Swine Production in Bailen, Cavite: An Entrepreneurial Development Project. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Animal Production. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Adviser: Mariedel M. Llanes-Autriz. This project was conducted at Barangay Kabulusan Bailen, Cavite from December 9, 2018 to March 22, 2019. The project helped the student to develop skills in actual hog raising and to determine the profitably of raising swine. The swine production project used four piglets that were purchased from a local swine farm, the average initial weight of the piglets was 13.67 kg. The feed was bought from Bailen public market. For the first two months the stocks consumed one sack of pre-starter, three sacks of starter which amounted to P5, 900.00. They also consumed thirteen sacks of grower pellet which amounted to P18, 135.00. After 104 days the stock weighed an average final weight of 98 kg, with an average daily gain of 803.14 grams. The hogs consumed an average of 206.25 kg of feeds, giving a feed conversion ratio of 2.44. A total of P40, 668.05 was used in the whole production. The business gave a net income which amounted to P6, 541.95 giving a return of investment (ROI) of 16.08%.
