Abstract: AVELIDA, ANNE KRISHNA R. Raising Hog Enterprise in Asis 1, Mendez, Cavite: An Entrepreneurial Development Project Report. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship major in Animal Production. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019 Adviser: Mr. Noriel Bergonio. This project was conducted at Barangay Asis 1, Mendez, Cavite from December 20, 2018 to April 3, 2019 to: (1) gain knowledge and understanding in swine production, (2) evaluate the different problems related to swine raising and (3) gain profit from fattening hogs. The four hogs were provided with proper care and management during 104 days — rearing period. At the end of the production, the hogs with an average initial body weight of 18 kg ended up weighing an average final weight of 88 kg. After 104 days of rearing, the hogs attained an average daily gain of 67108 g, feed consumption of 200 kg and feed conversion efficiency of 2.86. A total of P 39,246.6 was used in the production. The total gross sales of the production was P 44,525. The net income was P 5,278, giving a return on investment (ROI) of 13.45 percent.
