The study was conducted among 172 selected factory workers. Descriptive-correlational research design was used in this study. Spearman Rank Correlation test was also used to determine the relationships of problems encountered to the level of extrinsic and intrinsic motivational needs. The findings revealed that the common problems encountered by selected factory workers were perceived as a very minor problem. It was also revealed that the level of extrinsic and intrinsic motivational needs of the respondents were high. It was concluded that problems encountered poses very little challenge in the attainment of a particular extrinsic and intrinsic motivational need.
