Abstract: PEREZ, HYDIE GRACE and CELI DANICA SAGUN. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis on Coffee Production and Income Dynamics of Farmers in Amadeo, Cavite. Undergraduate Special Problem. Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. April 2005. Adviser: Mrs. Gemma S. Legaspi. The study was conducted by interviewing selected coffee farmers from different barangays of Amadeo, Cavite, The study covered only the years 2003 and 2004 period of coffee production in the said area. It aimed to formulate multiple linear regression model that best describes the factors that contribute to the variation in coffee production and income of coffee farmers. The final model for coffee production was expressed as Amount of Coffee Produced = 22.408 + 27.791 x farm size + 5.069 x amount of fertilizer + 17.384 x government policies The regression model showed that the farm size, amount of fertilizer and government policies affected the amount of coffee produced. The final model for the farmers' income was given by Farmers' Income = 6756.630 + 0.806 x Price of Fertilizer + 0.216 x Amt of Capital - 3418.054 x Problem in Income Generation (Lack of capital) The regression model showed that the price of fertilizer, amount of capital, and problems affecting the income generation affected the farmers' income. It is further recommended that neighboring towns of Cavite be considered, and more predictor variables be included

The final model for coffee production was expressed as
Amount of Coffee Produced = 22.408 + 27.791 x farm size + 5.069 x amount of fertilizer + 17.384 x government policies
The regression model showed that the farm size, amount of fertilizer and government policies affected the amount of coffee produced.
The final model for the farmers' income was given by
Farmers' Income = 6756.630 + 0.806 x Price of Fertilizer + 0.216 x Amt of Capital - 3418.054 x Problem in Income Generation
(Lack of capital)
The regression model showed that the price of fertilizer, amount of capital, and problems affecting the income generation affected the farmers' income.
It is further recommended that neighboring towns of Cavite be considered, and more predictor variables be included
