This study was conducted at General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital in Trece Martires City, Cavite from April 2005 to May 2005 to determine the effect of mother's status to fetal outcome and their acquired diseases during their pregnancy. The study was used descriptive analysis and involved data collection from the hospital and interviews to the post- partum mothers. This study revealed that the status of a pregnant mother affects the outcome of her infant in relation to nutrition, diseases acquired, lifestyle and knowledge about pregnancy.
