Abstract: TEPORA, TEDDY FUERTE. "IMUS DAIRY MARKETING COOPERATIVE INCORPORATED: A CASE STUDY". Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness. Don Severino Agricultural College, April 1993. Adviser : Miss Lina C. Abogadie. This study was conducted to provide the student a chance to experience actual management practices in a cooperative; to gain knowledge and skills in the production, management, marketing, and financial operations of cooperative; to identify problems in managing a marketing cooperative; and to recommend feasible solutions. This study was conducted at Imus Dairy Marketing Inc. in Bucandala, Imus, Cavite. Gathering of relevant data and information was done through observation participation in the firm's activities. The study revealed that failure to submit systematic records to the firm resulted to ineffective management. This be solved by requiring the present officers and management staff to submit important records to the could ABSTRACT office on time. and V the actual firm's Furthermore, it was also found out that the production performance of the firm was greatly affected by the non- availability of the workers. This could be remedied if production will be scheduled at the time when workers are available. The study also showed that problems in marketing could be solved by promoting the products, improving quality control and by having additional marketing outlets.
