Adviser : Mrs. Eileen I. Cubillo. This study was conducted at the Katipunan ng Kooperatiba ng mga Maggagatas Ink. at the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, Laguna. Relevant data and information were gathered through the author's actual observation and participation in the different activities involved in the operation of a dairy cooperative business. This study was conducted to provide the student a chance to participate and apply his gained knowledge in the actual management of a cooperative, to broaden his knowledge and skills in the Management, production, marketing and financial aspects of the cooperative, to identify problems faced by the cooperative, and to recommend feasible Solutions to problems. The study revealed that poor monitoring of staff activities resulted to ineffective management. To solve this, the chairman should conduct a regular monitoring of he activities of his staff. It was also found out that problem in production Occurred because milk products are highly perishable. This problem was aggravated by the negligence of the Staff in the performance of their functions. This could be remedied by developing a technology in maintaining and prolonging the freshness of the products. Results of the study further showed that the firm has limited market for their products. This could be solved by improving the Packaging materials of the product, by advertising the products so that they could compete with the leading brands, and by exploring additional market outlets So that the level of production will eventually increase.
