BALDRIAS, JONALIE R., GONZALES RONALD A., METRIO CELSO F., ROSANO DINDO R., Development Plan and Reinforced Concrete Design of Four Storey Building of Cavite State University Carmona Campus._ Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. Adviser: Eng'r. Renato B. Cubilla.
The design project was conducted at Cavite State University from July 2002 to January 2003. It was evaluated on February 2003 at the College of Engineering and Information Technology.
The objectives of the study were to enhance the knowledge learned in site development plan and reinforced concrete design of four-storey building.
The proposed Cavite State University — Carmona Campus was composed of administration building, four-storey building, library, canteen, and gymnasium, steel
Communication tower, water tank, and guardhouse. It provided the necessary documents such as architectural plan, design computation of concrete pavement, perimeter fence, Water distribution system, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, drainage system and detailed cost estimate.
The reinforced concrete design of four-storey building was based on the output of Structural Aided Analysis and Design (STAAD Ill), the standard prescribed in the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP), ACI code and specification for Ultimate Stress Design (USD). It was provided by architectural and structural plan and detailed cost estimate. The principles and considerations in designing of four-storey building were safe, aesthetic and economical
A scaled model was developed to view the outcome of the design project.
