A three—month field study was conducted at Sabater's Garden located in Ey-Pass Silang, Cavite from November, 1994 to January, 1995. It gave the author the chance to apply his gained knowledge in agribusiness management to real life situation and experience. Specifically, this study aimed to gather and analyze information on personnel management, production, marketing and financial aspects of the firm; to determine the different problems faced by the firm and recommend feasible solutions. The study focused mainly on personnel management, production, marketing and financial aspects of the firm. Problems were identified and feasible solutions were recommended. In organization and management, the problems lies on the disorganized and incomplete records of all the sales and major transactions in the farm. All the personnel in the farm does not not come to the farm regularly. The secretary and the assistant farm manager seldom come to the office which lead to incomplete farm records. To solve this problem, the owner—manager allowed his caretaker to record all the sales and major transactions which he later transfered to his record books. In the production aspect, proper scheduling of landscaping project is the problem. To solve this, proper scheduling of all farm operations should be implemented. Hiring some skilled workers is also recommended to accomodate all the transations in lanscaping. Division of labor should also practiced. To further increase sales, production of good quality products should be maintained. Promotion through active participation in garden shows and exhibits is also recommended. In the financial aspect, budget must be properly allocated. The workers must likewise be provided with incentives to encourage them to work more efficiently.
