Abstract: MACAISIP, MARVIN ESGUERRA, "ASIA BREWERY INCORPORATED. CABUYAO AND STA. ROSA, LAGUNA." Undergraduate Case Study. Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, (BSAB). Don Severino Agricultural College. Adviser: Dr. Maria A. Ersando. A three-month field study was conducted at the Asia Brewery Inc. in Cabuyao and Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It provided the trainee the actual practice and the chance to apply his gained knowledge in agribusiness management to actual working situations. During the duration of the study, problems were identified and feasible solutions were recommended. Collection of the data was done by observation and actual participation in the firm's activities, and interviews with the employees. Secondary data were also gathered from the company's record. It was found out that the company suffers problems during storage of the by-product. Due to lack of available vehicles, disposal of the product is sometimes delayed. The quality of the by-product would be affected if it could not be disposed immediately. Another problem is that the company does not have permanent workers assigned during the packaging of dried yeast. To minimize problems, the company should provide its own vehicle for the delivery of the product. They should also hire permanent workers that will work in dried yeast production alone.
