Abstract: CARAIG, ALEXANDRO "Ora-Mar Ponlitry Farm: Thy, Batangas", An Undergraduate Field Study, Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Agribusiness, Cavite State University, April 1998. Adviser: Mrs. Lolita. G. Herrera A three-month field study was conducted at Oro-Mar Poultry Farm in Palico, Tuy, Batangas from November 1997 to February 1998. The study aimed to apply gained knowledge, skills and tools in agribusiness management into actual work situations; to gain additional information and experience in poultry management in particular and agribusiness activities in general; and analyze the farm's performance. Problems of the farm were identified and future plans were determined. Primary data were gathered through observation and actual participation in the farm's activities and interviews with employees. Secondary data were gathered from the fanrn's records. Oro-Mar Poultry Farm is a broiler contract growing farm managed by the owner farm manager and four caretakers. There was no problem in marketing because the products were brought to the processing plant of Swift-RFM Corporation in San Pablo, Laguna. The farm experienced problems on management and production aspects like undisciplined workers which indirectly caused low production.
