Abstract: SILO, NICHELLE RODIS, " Human Resource Management of San Ritsu Great International Corporation". Undergraduate Case Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, March 2000. Adviser: Mr. Adonis N. Menez A case study was conducted at San Ritsu Great International Corporation located at Cavite Economic Processing Zone (CEPZ), Rosario, Cavite to analyze the human resource management of San Ritsu great International Corporation (SGIC). Specifically, the study aimed to describe the human resource management policies and practices of SGIC; describe the operative functions including recruitment of employees, training and development, wage and salary administration, changes in employee status, human resource planning, performance evaluation and employee's discipline; and identify the problems encountered by the firm and recommend feasible solutions to the various problems identified. The data and information were obtained through the use of company records and files, observation and personal interviews with the Human Resource Department (HRD) Manager and staff of HRD. The firm experienced some problems with regards to recruitment of its employees. The company should allot funds to enable them to advertise their vacant positions so that the company can better choose who among the numerous applicant best fits the job description and to be able to train and develop newly hired employees. Another problem is in terms of the salary and benefits of the employees. The company should provide and maintain an increase on the employee's salary every year. The management should also follow the guidelines and criteria in promoting an employee and lastly there should be no favoritism in terms of giving disciplinary actions.
