Abstract: Management practices on swine production was conducted at the backyard of Mrs. Dolores P. Gonzales at 508 de Ocampo St., Indang, Cavite from September 5, 1983 to January 5, 1984. The project was established temporarily to meet the demand of the people and to have exposure to a field of experience and acquire sufficient knowledge in mana-ging a small scale project. The project was carried out through the financial support of his parents and person-ally managed by the author. Four heads of large white breed of bogs were pur-chased at Circle J Farm, a well reliable source in Trece Martirez City and were given B-Meg commercial feeds. Afsillin was given to maintain its growth. Camote tops and ipil-ipil leaves were given also as feed additives. During the entire period of the management practices for four months feeding period, the four bogs consumed a total of 855 kilograms of feeds and exhibited a feed efficiency of 3.68 which resulted to a total weight of 294 kilograms liveweight. The project realized a net return of y 1,022.25 after deducting the total operating expenses of 0 3,979.45 to the total sales of Y 4,981.70.
