Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing, Cavite State University, Indang Cavite.April 2002. Mrs. Marilou P. Garcia, Adviser. A four-month food production project was conducted at Brgy Luciano, Trece Martirez City from October 2001 to February 2002. Through this project the student's aimed to generate profit from the business enterprise, developing strategies that will be used in marketing the products, and recommending possible solution to problems encountered by the business enterprise. The project was established as a business partnership of four student entrepreneurs. Data and other information relevant to the entrepreneurial project were gathered through actual operation of the enterprise including processing and marketing of products. Throughout the pi oject duration, the entrepreneurs produced a total 1,679 tacos, 187 regular pizza and 65 special pizza and 1,545 cups of fruitshakes. The tools and equipment used were purchased at SM Bacoor, Walter Mart Manggahan/ Dasmarinas and Trece Martires City Public Market. The raw materials and supplies were procured at SM Supermarket in Bacoor and Cavite City. Some of the ingredients were purchased in Trece Martires City. The entrepreneurs put up their store at Trece Martires City Public Market on October 16, 2001 up to January 14, 2002 They transferred the store in Cavite State University on January 15, 2002 because of the clean-up activity of Trece Martires City Public market and their contract was not renewed. The entrepreneurs thought it best to continue the project in the school. The four partners decided to finance their project through the help of their guardian and parents with an initial capital P 40,000.00. The said capital was used to purchase necessary tools and equipment, raw materials, supplies and other operating expenses. The cash ending balance for the fourth-month operation amounted to P 50,815.16. Income statement shows that the total net sales of the project amounted to P 52,015.00, and the total cost amounted to P 27,936.00. A net income of P 10,815.16 was realized. Balance sheet of the project shows assets, liabilities and owner's equity amounting to P50, 815.16 The enterprise encountered different problems particularly on the location of the store and distribution of their products.
