Abstract: A farm practice to observe hogs' feeding performance and determine the profitability of raising marketable hogs was conducted at the secondary level, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite from September 1984 to January 1985. The initial capital used amounting to P 4,696.00 borrowed from the DSAC-AEOP - Don Severino Agricultural College Agricultural Education Out Reach Project. Common technology on feeding fattening hogs like right amount of feed intake, systems of feeding and provision of secured feeding trough and pen was have a direct relation to the economics of production an on feed. Feeder hog general performance of fattening hogs s were provided by the traditional commercial mash feeds. Feeding regimentation was adopted according to Ad libitum feeding with the age class of finished hogs farm by-products supplementation was provided from growing to finishing period. At the end of the fattening period, hogs were marketed wholesale on live weight basis. The project had a total expenses of P 3 841.00, total return of P 4,236000 and a total net income of P 395.00.
