The seeds were sown in seed boxes or seedbeds about 25—30 days in advance of planting in the field. The seed boxes or seedbeds were prepared in shallow furrows about 15 centimeters apart. Plants were sprayed with Sevin at the rate of two to three tablespoonfuls per gallon of water at two weeks interval. Harvesting of tomato was done when the plants reached the several stages of maturity, depending upon how they are marketed or used. While in bush sitao, crops were harvested when the plants reached the marketable size and showed signs of maturity. The total yield obtained in 7,500 square meter land was 396 kilograms of tomato and 355 kilograms of bush sitao which were sold in wholesale basis at the amount of 72,826.500 After subtracting the total expenses of 71,550 from the total return of the project gave a net income of 71,296.50.
