The project "Mongo Production Using High Yielding (MG50-10A) Variety" was an income generating project initiated by the author under the Farm Practice Program of the Don Severino Agricultural College. This was conducted at Cabuco Trece Martirez City from August to November 1985, in: the field of Mr. Nicomedes Rosarda, the farmer coopera-tor. ,
An area of 5,000 square meter was prepared by plow-ing twice followed by harrowing. After the land prepara-tion complete fertilizer (14-14-14) was broadcasted.. Plant-ing was done in August 27, 1985. The seeds started to ger-minate four days after planting. The uniform appearance of growth was observed one month after planting. Seventy four days after, the pods were harvested and then dried within a week. Cleaning was done immediately after drying and the cleaned seeds were marketed at the public market.
