A farm practice training was conducted in Cabuco, Trece Marti res City from August to November, 19850 This study aimed to gain experience through actual exposure to crop management and to put into actual practice what has been learned in school by working together with the farmer cooperator
A 5,000 squaremeter field was thoroughly pre pared three weeks before the planting of mongo. One bag of complete fertilizer (14-14-14) was applied. Planting was done by broadcasting the seeds in the field on August 27, 19850 Mongo seeds germinated five days after planting. Harvesting of mongo was done on October 31 and November 8, 19850The yield obtained was sixty-four gantas. The gross income from the project was 2,560.00 while the net income was 2400.00.
