Abstract: This farm practice training which was entitled "An Income Generating Project Through Peanut Production" was conducted from October 1986 to January 1987 in Limbon, Indang, Cavite. It aimed to enable the student to integrate theoretical knowledge to actual farming in estab-lishing an income generating projects to-give some beneficial information and recommendation to farmers so as to obtain maximum yield of peanut. An area of 3,000 square meters land was prepared thoroughly before peanuts were planted broadcastly. Ma-nagement practices like weeding, cultivation, pest control were made during the training. Out of the six gantas of peanut planted, thirty five gantas of dried seeds were produced which was sold at P60.00 per ganta. The total gross income was P2,100.00. After deducting all the expenses of P1,050.00, the computed net income was P1,050.00.
