This farm practice, "The Use of Complete Ferti-lizer (14-14-14) in the Production of Mungbean" was conducted at Cabuco, Trece Martires City from August to December, 1987. It aimed to develop the farmers' ability in handling an income generating project and also to improve their farming techniques through transferring of modern technology in mango production. A 0.5 hectare of land was plowed and harrowed twice. Immediately after the second harrowing, mongo seeds were evenly broadcasted followed by basal application of complete fertilizer. Weeds were hand-pulled from time to time. Mango pods were harvested twice because they did not mature uniformly. From ten kilograms of mongo planted, 130 kilo-grams was harvested and was sold at 023.00 per kilo. The project had a gross income of 02,000.00. After de-ducting the total expenses of one thousand seven hundred fifty pesos (01,750.00), the project gave a net profit of 01,240.00.
