Abstract: A farm practice project using cono as feed supplement for fattening hogs was conducted at Barangay Sabang, Naic, Cavite from August to December 1988. This primarily aimed to reduce feed cost. The fattened hogs gained an average weight of 78 kilograms and a final body weight of 85.5 kilograms within the five months feeding period. The fattened hogs were able to exhibit a feed efficiency of 3.9 out of an average feed consumption of 310 kilograms. A net profit of P628.00 was realized. The farmer cooperator was convinced on the use of cono as feed supplement for fattening hogs.
