Abstract: A project on hog fattening was conducted in Pulo ni Sara, Maragondon, Cavite from August to December 1988. It aimed to share with the farmer-cooperator the techno-logy in using coffee pulp and fresh grated coconut as feed supplement in growing finishing hogs. Hopefully, it also aimed to help the farmer become efficient in the disposal of coffee pulp as waste product of coffee beans. A loan obtained from the DSAC-AEOP served as capital for the operation of the project. The project revealed that mixed grated coconut and coffee pulp can partly substitute commercial feeds at the rate of 15 percent without effect on the performance of the pig.
