Abstract: A farm practice on the observation of the Feeding Performance of Growing/Fattening Hogs by actual application of approved management practices was conducted at the piggery Project of the Don Severino Agricultural College Indang, Cavite from October 5, 1981 to February 13, 1982. In 133 days feeding period, the five feeder hogs were able to consume an average of 271 kg. of feeds and converted it into an average gain in weight of 68.66 kg giving an efficiency of 3.9 kg• A net profit of P211.90 was derived from five feeder hogs in 133 days of feeding period but was still considered low because of the uncomputed labor cost. Restriction of the production area and careful implementation of approved management practices should be given due consideration if better profit is highly desired.
