Abstract: A. Farm Practice was conducted at Cabuco Trece Martires City, Cavite from September, 1981 to February, 1982 to determine the production of peanuts in the said place. A 4,320 square meter field was plowed and harrowed two times at an interval of one week to allow weed seeds to germinate and other trashes to decay. The last plowing was followed by harrowing to ensure the levelling of the land. Planting was done on the last week of September after broadcasting the complete fertilizer (14-14-14) and IIrea (45-0-0) fertilizer basally on the rows. The seeds were drilled in the furrows with three to four seeds per hill. Occasional weeding was done to kill the weeds as they grew in the plantation and to provide good aeration for the crops. On the last week of January, the farmer-cooperator harvested the crop with some of his hired laborers. On the second week of February, the dried unshelled peanut was sold which gave a income of P390.00.
