Abstract: The project was conducted from June 29 to August 1982, in Ermita, Balayan, Batangas. A total of 208 Luman Strain chicks was used. Chicks were placed in the brooding house and transferred. In the rearing house at the age of two weeks up to the time of disposal. Available commercial feeds were given from day-old up to disposal period. Fresh, clean drinking water with medication was provided at all times. Strict hygiene and sanitation was observed and a good supply of feeds was maintained. The birds were fed ad libitum. The total feed consumption of the birds was 675 kg with an average of 3.34 kg per bird. Through proper feeding and good management the raiser was able to produce an average live weight of 1.45 kg. per bird. A total of 292.9 kilograms were sold whole-sale at the current market price of p12.50 per kilogram giving a net labor return of 901.25 for the entire period of six weeks.
