The farm ractice conducted in Limbon, Indang, Cavite from September 1 982 to March 1 9830 'This was carried out to gain experience in managing a pineapple plantation while assisting the farmer cooperator in his activities, Ideas, principles, and concept of raising pineapple were frequently discussed by the farmer cooperator and the farm practice student, this enables the farm practice student to put into actual practice the knowledge she gained from classroom discussion,
In order that the planned activities could be implemented, the amount of one thousand pesos (PI,000.00) was lent to the partner cooperator and was used in purchasing; fertilizers (21 —0-0) and flower inducer (ethel),Of the 1.0 hectare of land used for the project,
005-hectare which was planted ahead of the other half hectare gave fruits with a harvest of 5, 500 fruits, these were sold thru binning giving a total income of 78, 250000.
The other half of the land (005 hectare) which was planted much later were expected to produce fruits four months after the termination of the project, In the first 0.5 hectare of , the farmer cooperator obtained a net income of P6,630.00. Considering the fruits that will be harvester the remaining 0.5 hectare,
The farmer cooperator was expected to gain more than P6,630.00 if the same yield could be obtained from the plants.
