Abstract: This farm practice was conducted at Guyam Munti Indang, Cavite from August to November, 1982 to determine the production of mongo in the said place. A 2,500 square meter field was plowed and harrowed twice at an interval of one week to allow weedseeds to germinate. The last plowing was followed by harrowing to insure proper levelling of the land. Planting was done on the first week of September after broadcasting the complete fertilizer (14-14-14) at the rate of 200 kgs. per hectare. Occasional weeding was done to kill the weeds as they grew in the plantation. Harvesting of dry pods was done on November 15-20, 1982 approximately seventy-three (73) days after planting. A total of 45 gantas of mongo were harvested and marketed at P21.00 per ganta. The gross income obtained was P945.00. A net income of four hundred nine pesos and fifty centavos (P409.50) was obtained after deducting the total expenses of P535.50 from the total gross income of P
