Abstract: This Farm Practice was conducted at the backyard hog pen of Cecilia Merges of Buna Lejos, Indang, Cavite from July 25, 1990 to November 30, 1990. It aimed to acquire sufficient knowledge in managing a small project and to expose the student to a particular field experience. During the entire period of the farm practice, the three hogs consumed a total of 725 kgs of feeds and exhibited a feed efficiency of 3.66 kg. The three hogs were sold at 145.00/kilo dress weight. A gross income of P8,914.50 was realized resulting in a net profit of P1,446.00 from the hogs.
