Abstract: This project was conducted to determine the actual cost and return of raising 250 heads of ducklings and to acquire knowledge and skills in managing a duck project. This was conducted at Buna Lejos, Indang, Cavite from October to December, 1991. The ducks were fed with Broiler Starter Mash mixed with Chick Grower Mash on the first day to the 10th day. From the start of 11th day up to the 23rd day, ducks were given Broiler Finisher Mash. Feeds was shifted to Hog Fi-nisher Mash on 24th day up to the 33rd day and at the beginning of 34th day, Hog Grower Mash was given up to the market time. After two months, ducks obtained a total weight of 715.4 kgs having an average of 3.02 kgs. The ducks consumed 1,975 kgs of feed with an average feed consumption of 8.3 kgs. The percentage mortality was 5.8%. The project incurred a total operating expenses P 25,806.53 while the total sales was P 32,020.30. The net income was P6,213.77.
