Abstract: The farm practice was conducted at the Agribusiness Poultry Project of the Department of Animal Science, Don Severino Agricultural College, Inaang, Cavite from February 10 to March 31, 1993. Three hundred day-old commercial broiler chicks were used. They were red with commercial broiler starter ration from the first up to the fourth week and finally with a commercial broiler finisher ration from the fifth up to the seventh week. The recommended management practices were followed throughout the operation of the project. Rearing was done for 49 days. At the termination of the project, the birds attained an average body weight of 1.48 kg, feed consumption of 3.908 kg and feed conversion efficiency of 2.64. The project gained a net income of P1,667.00 or P5.56 per bird and a return on investment of 9.30 percent.
