Abstract: The project entitled "Production Management of Snap Beans Planted in An Established Papaya and Banana Plantation" was conducted at barangay Binambanganq Indang, Cavite from June 1994 to October 1994. The project aimed to enable the students to put into practices the technical know-how in maximizing the productivity of land through planting of snap beans in an established papaya and banana plantation, and to familiarize the farm practice student with the cultural application required on snap beans. The field was cleared by weeding and removal of scattered grasses and other trashes. It was thoroughly plowed and harrowed twice at weekly interval. Then it was planted to snap beans. As soon as the bean plants started to grow, trellises were provided by placing madre de cacao stem near each individual plant. Weeding and cultivation was done when weeds started to germinate. Bean pods were initially harvested 65 days after planting. Total yield obtained was 139.25 kilos and sold at P40.00 per kilo. This gave a total income of P5,570.00. The net income derived from crops was P2,900.90 giving a return of investment of 108%.
