Bachelor of Science in Business Management , Major in Marketing, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite . April 1998. Adviser : Mr. Danilo V. Jeciel A three-month field practice was conducted at Tri-Union International Corporation (TUIC) located at H & A Building, 1401 Union Street Corner San Gregorio Street, Paco Manila from November 3, 1997 to January 21, 1998. It aimed to provide the students a chance to apply gained knowledge in business management to real life situation, gather and analyze information on the organization and management, production, marketing and financial aspects of the firm and to identify the existing problems encountered by the firm and recommend feasible solution. Relevant data were obtained through observations and interviews with the management staff and from the files of the company. TUIC is a garment manufacturer of denim pants, casual pants, woven and knitted shirts, jackets and sportswear . The company produces standard and quality garments. Problems encountered in its operation were delays in cutting, washing, assembly, finishing and availability of materials. These problems can be solved by working out a plan as to what styles to produce and the production schedules.
