A field study was conducted at Hella Phil., Dasmarthas, Cavite to provide opportunity for the student to acquire additional knowledge and experience that can help in the future employment. Specifically, this field study aimed to get exposed to and if possible, learn various activities in the firm; apply and at the same time, acquire further knowledge and experiences; be able to know the problems encountered by the firm and recommend some possible solutions. Hella-Philippines, Inc. is in line with an automotive industry that produces automotive lightning equipment and distributed to their OEM customers for lamps and horns.
During the conduct of the field study, different activities in the firm were done like filing of records, encoding of documents, sorting, distributing of guidelines and procedures and other electrical works.
Within the duration of the study, problems were identified and possible solutions were recommended. To cope with this problems, the management should plan in advance on what would be the best solutions for their problems.
