Abstract: SECRETO, SHERWIN D. and TANO, RONALD P., Operation of Mini Carinderia at Cavite State University: An Enterprise Development Project, Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Major in Marketing, Cavite State University, Indang Cavite, April 1999. Adviser: Mrs. Lolita G. Herrera. A four month enterprise development project was conducted at the back of the College of Economics, Management and Development Studies building, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite from November 15,1998 to February 16, 1999. Though this project, the students capabilities in managing business social relationship, decision making and strategy in handling a business were developed. The project concentrated on the operation and management of a mini carinderia covering all the functional areas such as organization, production, marketing and finance. Data and other information pertaining to the entrepreneurial project were gathered through actual operation. The problem encountered by the project was the project location. The enterprise has no income during weekends. Also, there was low profit every afternoon because most of the students had no classes. This problem was solved by producing high volume of foods every morning were most of the customers arrived at the carinderia. The success of this project will enable to the students to establish similar entrepreneurial project. The project, likewise, developed the student's managerial and entrepreneurial skills in handling or establishing this kind of business. This enterprise is a good source of income.
