Abstract: SANGANGBAYAN, BELINDA MOJICA. All Asia Garment Industries Incorporated, Rosario, Cavite Field Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2002. Adviser: Ms. Cristina del Mundo. The study was conducted to train the student in actual work situation and get exposed to the different activities of the firm. Specifically, it aimed to discuss the organizational management, marketing and financial aspect of the firm; gain more knowledge on different duties and responsibilities in the Payroll Department; and identify the problems encountered by the firm and recommend feasible solutions to the various problems identified. The study was conducted at Lot 1A, Block 4, Phase II, Cavite Export Processing Zone, Rosario, Cavite from November 6, 2001 to February 16, 2002. Data were gathered through observation and actual participation in the firm's activities, interviews from the payroll staff, and HR Assistant, and from the files and records of the company. Other information were obtained from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and from Tagaytay City Hall Library. All Asia Garments Industries is a member of the Tristate Holdings Limited, a medium to large scale international group of garment manufacturing companies with well-established factories which includes A Grade Garment Manufacturing Corp. and Excellent Quality Apparel, Inc. It envision to maintain its lead in the garment manufacturing industry not only in Asia but in the rest of the world by perpetuating the tradition of EXCELLENCE in the garment industry that foreign forbearers handed over to the Filipino. Results of the study showed that the primary goal of the company is to earn optimum return of investments through steady and reasonable profit growth as well as cost-effective asset management. They believe that a reasonable profit will ensure job security and opportunities for others.
