A field study was conducted at Consolidated Distillers of the Far East Incorporated, Distillery Division located at Lumbangan, Nasugbu, Batangas from April 3, 2001 to August 25, 2001. The study aimed at imparting knowledge and skills through actual participation/ involvement in the company’s operations which will be useful in seeking future employment. It described the activities/operations conducted at the Headquarters Department, the products offered in the market and determined the problems encountered by the firm. Consolidated Distillers of the Far East Incorporated, Distillery Division can boast its capability to produce various alcohol products that will suit the requirements of its compounding plant and other clients including pharmaceuticals. Major problem encountered by the firm was the waste disposal causing air pollution and producing toxic waste that caused illness to the residents. Another problem experienced by the company was severe economic difficulties due to political crises that resulted to peso devaluation, unstable stock markets and slow growth rate. Working in the company helped the student gain valuable experience, especially in encoding, photocopying, fax transmission, recording and arranging files. These were routinary activities which helped her develop self-confidence and professionalism.

A field study was conducted at Consolidated Distillers of the Far East Incorporated, Distillery Division located at Lumbangan, Nasugbu, Batangas from April 3, 2001 to August 25, 2001.
