A three month- field study was conducted in Maxon Systems (Phils), Inc. to provide opportunity for the author to apply his knowledge and skills in Business Management to actual business situation, describe the organization and management, marketing and production, determine the problems faced by the firm and identify the problems encountered by the firm. Relevant data were obtained through observations and interviews with the Management Staff and from the files of the company.
Maxon Systems (Phils). Inc. is a manufacturing type of business that provides good quality products, superior workmanship and proper management. The firms market their products mostly at the European countries.
Some problems encountered by the firm were lack of facilities in the administration office especially computers and the stiff competition wherein more companies are engaged in the same line of business
The trainee was assigned at the Administration Office where he performed clerical works filing documents, photocopying, encoding and other related works.
The author encountered difficulty in gathering data and information due to its confidentiality.
