Abstract: BAYBAY, MELODIE BAYOT. United Cycle Incorporated. Undergraduate Field Study, Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing. Cavite State Univeristy, Indang, Cavite. April 2003. Adviser: Ms. Cristina R. del Mundo. A field study was conducted at United Cycle Incorporated at Amaya, Tanza, Cavite from November 4, 2002 to February 10, 2003. The main objective of the study was to apply the knowledge learned from the course to actual business operation. It aimed to discuss the organization, management policies and practices of the firm; describe the production and marketing aspects of the firm; and to identify problems that the company encountered and to recommend feasible solutions. Data and information were gathered from the files and records of the company. Additional information were gathered through observations and personal interview with the employees of the firm. The study presented some information of the company’s history; organization and management; marketing, accounting, shipping and production operational activities; company product; and the trainees experiences in the field . United Cycle Inc. is engaged in manufacturing and assembling different kinds of bicycle for export like mountain bike, city bike, sports bike, and children bike. The most common problems encountered by the firm were the delayed shipment of the raw materials, purchasing of low quality materials, and production cannot meet its deadline. In order to cope up with its problems, the company should assure the date of arrival of the raw material, and they should look for the other suppliers that can supply them with better materials for the production of finished product.

A field study was conducted at United Cycle Incorporated at Amaya, Tanza, Cavite from November 4, 2002 to February 10, 2003.
