Bachelor of Science in Criminology. College of Criminal Justice. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Dr. Susan G Tan. The main objective of the study was to assess the municipality of Indang social welfare services. Specifically, the study aimed to: I .identify the demographic profile of the OFW children at selected barangays in Indang, Cavite; determine the socio-demographic profile of OFW parents; 2. determine the parenting role of OFW parents to their children; 3. determine if there is significant relationship between demographic profile of OFW children and their assessment on their parenting role of OFW parent; and 4. determine the significant relationship between profile of OFW parent/s and the assessment of their children on their parent role. Descriptive research was used in this study. Interview with the use of survey questionnaire were done to gather pertinent data. The participants were composed of one hundred fifty (150) OFW children are in ranging from 13 to 17 years old. In terms of demographic profile of OFW children in Indang, Cavite. Majority of the OFW children are in age of 15 male and grade 10. In terms of socio-demographic profile of OFW parent in Indang, Cavite. Most of the OFW parents are mother; 1-5 years as an OFW; temporary migrant; domestic helper and has the monthly income of 20,000 and below. On the other hand, among the items of the parenting role of OFW to their children in Indang, Cavite, provides sufficient financial assistance for their needs has the highest mean score and it has verbal interpretation of agree.There is significant relationship between demographic profile of OFW children in terms of age, sex and grade level to their assessment on parenting role of their parents. There is significant relationship between demographic profile of OFW parent in terms of years of parents working as OFW and monthly income to the assessment of their children on their parenting role.
