Abstract: GARCIA, GILLIAN A., MAMANGUN, MISAEL PAUL C., MONTES, APRIL JOY C., AND PANIAMOGAN, JINKY T, Jam & Gill: An Android-Based Game on Logical Connectives and Analogical Reasoning. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Mr. Ace Amiel E. Malicsi. This study was conducted from September 2018 to April 2019 at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to develop Jam and Gill Game: an android-based game on logical connectives and analogical reasoning that would help and improve the logical thinking of user. Specifically, it aimed to: 1. provide a feature where students can regain or capture their interest and learning; 2. provide a features where features can have alternative teaching medium for logical connectives and analogical reasoning; and 3. have a feature that will present guides and instructions in solving problems. Thus, these help the users’ abilities to understand a system of relationships and to draw appropriate conclusions about those relationships and enhance the strategic thinking. These help to develop and maintain skill such as concentration, memorization and reasoning which is part of cognitive skill. Thereupon, playing mobile-learning games engage the users’ brains to an activity that works in complex thinking, upon knowing what it does and accommodating the knowledge gained strengthens the users’ cognitive ability. To develop the mobile game application, Unity game development platform was used. After developing Jam & Gill, evaluation forms were distributed to One Hundred (100) students that have taken the subject of Logical Connectives and Analogical Reasoning and Ten (10) faculty members of Department of Information Technology to evaluate the mobile game application based on the standards of ISO 9126 According to the overall evaluation results, the mobile gaine application has been assessed to be excellent in all software quality criteria such as functionality, reliability, usability, portability, efficiency, user-friendliness, and relativeness. Considering this fact, proponents have concluded that this study would be a good solution for problems encountered by the students’ lack of interests to learn logical connectives and analogical reasoning. Moreover, it enlightens the problem in traditional ways of teaching logical connectives and analogical reasoning and lastly, it helps to solve the problem about the lack of guides and instructions to solve problems.
