Abstract: The study "Application of Farm Manures to Soybean" was conducted from June 30, 1978 to October 8, 1978 at the experimental field of the Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite. It aimed to determine the effects of different animal manures on the growth of soybean and to determine which of the organic fertilizers would give the best yield. A field of 345 square meters was used in this experiment. It was divided into 20 plots to serve as treatments. Organic fertilizer (animal manures) were broadcast on the beds and mixed thoroughly with the soil before planting the soybean. The furrows were laid 60 centimeters apart. Four seeds were planted in each hill spaced 60 cen- timeters in the row. Harvesting was done 100 days after planting by merely pulling the entire plant. Treatment 1 (chicken manure) gave the highest mean height, produced the highest number of pods, highest weight of both shelled and unshelled soybean among the treatments.
